Create a conscious consumer community

  Imagine if we used the internet to consolidate and concentrate our buying power.  Think of the standard types of bills you pay each month; cell phone, land line, ISP.  What if there was a way to earn say,an 8% return on our collective communication bills?  Well, there is.  This could also  work, in a different fashion,  with grocery, utility, pharmacy and gas bills. 
   As the consequences of ignoring global warming become obvious to all, this is an opportunity to rally tremedous numbers of people around environmental issues by asking them to do something as simple as changing a communications provider, by consciously directing our necessary consumption in ways that can help to mitigate the negative impact of human society on the ecosystem.
