What's your relationship to the Earth?

This is in Response to the Questions and Reflections for April 22, 2007:

  Actually, I think it was Carl Sagan's wife who said, "It's not so much that we are on the surface of  the earth, but that we are the surface of the earth."  I have had  moments in my life when I felt that truth.
